A cold front, coupled with strong upper level dynamics, moved through the area this afternoon, which allowed strong/severe thunderstorms to develop. One of these thunderstorms moved into mainly the eastern portion of Gold Canyon, resulting in moderate to heavy rainfall and accumulating amounts of hail.
