It is with great sadness to report this news….

At approximately 6:25pm on July 25th, while Weather Bus.com owner Matthew Pace was on a routine drive in his fully-restored 1969 Volkswagen Bus, known as the Weather Bus, it started on fire in east Mesa. While he was able to get out without injury, the Weather Bus and all the contents inside were a total loss.

Even though the Weather Bus was destroyed, Weather Bus.com will continue to be updated, as the weather equipment used to update the site are mounted at a fixed location not related to the bus.

We would like to thank the Mesa Fire and Police departments for their prompt and professional response to this situation.
